I’m a lover of music, a DJ, and a collector of vinyl records. I’ve made lots of tributes to vinyl packaging and art inspired by music and its graphics. This piece takes inspiration from a few places… post-punk minimalist art using one or two spot colors, psychedelic surrealism, and the tricky interplay of positive and negative space elements with multiple perspectives used by MC Escher. Music has helped a lot of ideas bloom for me, so there’s that too.
